I would suggest party poker. games are not too hard to beat, the software is pretty player friendly, and they offer bonuses every now and again. A good place to get your feet wet, I think.

pokerworld the biggest rip on the net. Software scewed for high rakes. Played there was up 1300.00 lost in 3 hours on monster hands. Hand after hand at 10/20 limit. Was getting beat with Big Slick Ace Ace best hand 9-10 times lost in that period.

I like Party Poker...They had some problems a month or so ago due to the number of players online at one time, but since their upgrade, I have had no problems whatsoever. Easy to use and they just recently started ranking the tournament players.
